2/22/18 | 5:56PM: Pierre LeBrun spoke about Ryan McDonagh and said, "what is interesting and it's what I would do if I was the New York Rangers, the top three teams in the Atlantic Division have shown varying degrees of interest in Ryan McDonagh. Tampa Bay, Boston, Toronto but there are two other teams two that have kept tabs with the Rangers on McDonagh. This is a hockey deal, not a rental deal, multi-asset, certainly when it comes to the Bruins, they are still in on McDonagh but the price has to go down, and I am sure the Rangers are saying that they have to bring their offer up." 4:35PM: Darren Dreger said that Toronto isn't likely to move one of their "big core pieces" but wonders how Lou Lamoriello would react if asked about Kasperi Kapanen and/or Travis Dermott. (FanRag)
10:53AM: Pierre LeBrun says that McDonagh does not need to approve a trade to Toronto so there are no issues if the Leafs decide to "get serious on an offer to the Rangers."
