Kentucky freshman forward Skal Labissiere has declared for the 2016 NBA Draft, he announced on Tuesday. Labissiere plans to sign with an agent, thus effectively ending his careeer at Kentucky.

"I want to thank my family, my coaches, teammates and most importantly I want to thank God for the opportunity that he gave me to represent and play for the University of Kentucky," Labissiere said on Tuesday. "I also want to thank the fans for their support through everything this season. I am excited to announce that I am entering the 2016 NBA Draft."

Labissiere played in all 36 games this season, starting 18 of them. The 6-foot-11, 225-pound forward averaged 6.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in his only season at Kentucky. Duke freshman Brandon Ingram will enter the 2016 NBA draft, he announced in a goodbye letter posted on The Players' Tribune

Ingram played at Duke for only one season, averaging 17.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while being named the Atlantic Coast Conference's freshman of the year. Ingram was also named second-team All-ACC.

"My time is almost over here in Durham. Today as I declare for the NBA draft, I'm both excited and said about this moment," Ingram wrote. "On one hand, one year at Duke isn't a very long time. I know that. But I've done a lot of growing, and growing up, in that time. I know by leaving I'll miss out on a lot of friendships and opportunities. I'll really miss all the students who showed me so much love."

NEW YORK -- Junior forward DeAndre' Bembry helped keep St. Joe's alive for another day in the Atlantic 10 Tournament at Barclays Center.

The former St. Patrick's High School star and NBA Draft prospect finished with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists as St. Joe's came from 15 down in the second half to defeat George Washington, 86--80, in the quarterfinals. No. 4 St. Joe's (25-7) will meet No. 1 Dayton (25-6) in the first A-10 semifinal on Saturday at 1:30.

"[Bembry] left some plays out there…" St. Joe's coach Phil Martelli said. "But he's a very confident player. During the timeouts, when everyone was overexcited, including assistant coaches, and everybody wants to talk, he was the one that said, 'Yo, one voice here. One voice. Everyone get zeroed in.' He kept them calm, and he competed… It's his leadership that brought us home."

NEW YORK -- Fordham's season may have come to an early end on Thursday as the Rams fell to the Richmond Spiders, 70-55, in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament at Barclays Center.

Even if Fordham does not get invited to postseason play, this season was a good start to Jeff Neubauer's career at Fordham. For the first time in years, the future looks bright for the Rams.

Fordham went 27-66 in the three seasons prior to this year. A big reason Neubauer was brought in from Eastern Kentucky was to bring some established success to the Fordham basketball program. The head coach was 188-134 with the Colonels, leading them to five 20-win seasons and two NCAA appearences. In his first season with Fordham, the Rams finished 17-13, securing their first winning season in nine years.

NEWARK -- If Seton Hall is going to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2006, it will need to win as many games as possible in the Big East Conference and probably finish at least 9-9.

After a rough stretch in which they faced four ranked teams -- Villanova twice and Providence and Xavier once each -- the Pirates returned home to face struggling St. John's on Wednesday night at the Prudential Center.

Led by Angel Delgado's 15 points and 17 rebounds and Isaiah Whitehead's 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, the Pirates handled the Red Storm, 79-60, to improve to 14-6 and 4-4 in the Big East. St. John's (7-14, 0-8) dropped its 11th straight under first-year coach Chris Mullin.
