The NBA season is technically more than halfway over for the Nets, who have played 49 games and have a 23-26 record. After a rough start, the team?s play has improved drastically.

With only two games remaining before the unofficial halfway point of the season, two more wins would really give this team some good momentum, especially with an all-important six-game west coast road trip looming.

No games are layups in the NBA, and tonight?s matchup against the Charlotte Bobcats could potentially be a trap game. But the Bobcats have been struggling on the road lately, dropping their last four road games by an average of 12.0 points.

HOUSTON ? As great as Brook Lopez has played for the Brooklyn Nets this season, he's continued to impress with his attitude and demeanor. Most NBA players say the right things; few actually mean them.

Lopez, for sure, is amongst those exceptions.

It certainly has been an interesting beginning to the Nets? tenure in Brooklyn.

A roaring start was followed by a terrible stretch resulting in the firing of Avery Johnson. P.J. Carlesimo looked like he was the savior of the franchise, but an inconsistent stretch recently has brought the team back down to earth at the break.

It's pretty easy to figure out which players are on the ballot, but there's some more pertinent information after the jump.
