Cincinnati Bengals' QB Andy Dalton has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his Week 10 performance against the Giants. Basically unfettered by the Giants' pass rush, Dalton had one of his best days as a pro.

Dalton completed 21 of 30 passes (70 percent) for 199 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions for a 127.6 passer rating in the Bengals? 31-13 win over the Giants.

He connected with four different Bengals receivers on his TD passes ? 56 yards to WR A.J. Green, 11 yards to WR Andrew Hawkins, 10 yards to TE Jermaine Gresham and 10 yards to rookie WR Mohamed Sanu.

Four offensive turnovers were the storyline of the Giants? loss this past Sunday to the Bengals. However, defensive coordinator Perry Fewell was not pleased with how his unit played as a whole.

On the very first series, Andy Dalton connected with A.J. Green on a 56-yard touchdown in which the Giants? secondary looked completely lost.

Fewell said there were actually two blunders on that play.

Yeah, I saw the game yesterday. The New York Giants (6-4) loss a second game in a row. Here's a look at the loss and recent slump by the numbers:

18:?The Giants lost by 18 to Cincinnati, the largest margin of defeat since a 49-24 loss in New Orleans on Nov. 28, 2011.

318:?The number of total yardage by Big Blue. Despite the loss, the Giants outgained the Bengals 318-275, outrushed them 129-76 and achieved more first downs (21-15).

It wasn?t the defense?s fault that the Giants suffered a 31-13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, who had lost their previous four games.

The Bengals only extended scoring drive that resulted in a touchdown came on their very first possession, when Andy Dalton hit A.J. Green on a 56-yard strike. The Giants secondary looked confused on the play, but other than that blunder, the defense actually turned in a decent effort.

The problem was that the Bengals kept starting with great field position fueled by Giants? offensive turnovers or giving up big special teams? plays.

I think it?s kind of how we were raised. How we came in, our knowledge of what we?re doing. For me, I feel like my knowledge of the game is really what helped me. A.J., he?s so naturally gifted, and put that with the work ethic that both of us have, I think that?s what it comes down to, why we?ve been successful for the first year and a half that we?ve been in the league.
