
The Jets will re-sign RB Bilal Powell, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN (March 10).
Powell's contract is a three-year deal worth $11.25 million with $6 million guaranteed, according to Over The Cap. Powell will receive a $2.65 million signing bonus, while his base salary for 2016 will be $850,000 and $3.75 million in 2017. His cap hit for 2016 will be $1.73 million.
The Jets, who just agreed to a three-year deal with RB Matt Forte, had recently lost RB Chris Ivory to the Jaguars.
