Corey Perry

In the Ottawa Sun, Bruce Garrioch writes that the Rangers are one of many teams (Detroit, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Philly) that will make a push for pending UFA Corey Perry if he becomes a UFA.

Garrioch says that Perry wants a deal similar to the one that Ryan Getzlaf just signed which is for eight-years and $66 million.

On TSN recently, Darren Dreger said of Perry that rival GM's around the league predict that Perry will ask for between $9 and $10 million per season.
