The Giants became the third team in NFL history with 650 regular-season wins (654).
Tom Coughlin (83) surpassed Bill Parcells (77) for the second-most regular-season wins in Giants history among head coaches, trailing only Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve Owen (153).
QB ELi Manning (211) became the Giants’ all-time leader in touchdown passes (Phil Simms, 199). Manning threw 26 TD passes in 2012, his fourth season with at least 25. He is the only Giants QB to reach 25 touchdown passes in at least three seasons.
WR Victor Cruz collected 86 receptions for 1,092 yards with 10 touchdowns. Cruz is the first player in club annals to post at least 80 receptions, 1,000 receiving yards and 10 TD catches in a season.
Rookie RB-KR David Wilson set a single-game franchise record with 327 all-purpose yards in Week 14. Wilson became the first player in NFL history with at least 200 kickoff return yards and 100 rushing yards in the same game.
S Stevie Brown amassed an NFL-best 307 interception-return yards, a Giants franchise record. His eight interceptions tied for the second-most in the league and the most by a Giant since Willie Williams had 10 in 1968. Brown’s 307 interception return yards were the most by an NFL player since New Orleans’ Darren Sharper had 376 in 2009.
Cruz caught a game-winning 77-yard touchdown pass from Manning in Week 7, the longest game-winning touchdown in the final two minutes of a game in franchise history.
Gained 604 yards of total offense in Week 2, the second-most in team history (609, 12/3/1950).
Cruz, G Chris Snee and DE Jason Pierre-Paul were voted to the Pro Bowl.
Cruz totaled 2,032 receiving yards and 125 receptions through his first 25 career games, the sixth-most and tied for the sixth-most, respectively, through the first 25 games of a career in NFL history.
Manning threw for a career-high 510 yards in Week 2, tying for the eighth most in a single game in NFL history.
Wilson finished the season with 57, tying the franchise record Domenik Hixon set in 2009. Wilson’s 1,533 kickoff return yards are a team record.
This season, Wilson scored touchdowns rushing, receiving and on a kickoff return. He is the first Giant to do that since Joe Scott in 1948.
WR Rueben Randle Randle is the first Giants rookie receiver with two touchdown receptions in a game (Week 17) since Bobby Johnson on Sept. 2, 1984 – also at home vs. Philadelphia.
K Lawrence Tynes made a team-record 204 consecutive extra points since missing one vs. San Francisco on Oct. 21, 2007. The old team record of 133 in a row was set by Pete Gogolak from 1967-72. Tynes finished the season with 145 points, the second-highest total in Giants history. Jay Feely scored 148 points in 2005.
The Giants collected six NFC Player of the Week honors in 2012: Hakeem Nicks (Offense, Week 2), Antrel Rolle (Defense, Week 6), Stevie Brown (Defense, Weeks 8 and 17), Lawrence Tynes (Special Teams, Week 3) and David Wilson (Special Teams, Week 14). Tynes was named the NFC Special Teams player of the month for October.
