After the Giants traded him to the Browns, Odell Beckham Jr. was hurt. Shortly after that, he was excited. Now, he seems to be taking parting shots.
Here's how Beckham captioned his recent Instagram post:
"Them DAWGSSS gon be on go! Ion care what u talkn bout 😤😤 finally get to be off my leash #CountMeIn"
If finally getting to be off his "leash" is Beckham's reference to the Giants trying to reel in his personality, he's talking about a team that -- among other things -- watched him fight and then make up with kicking nets, question his starting quarterback in public, and act like a dog peeing during one infamous touchdown celebration.
The Giants -- led by John Mara at the top -- are notoriously buttoned up and took issue with some of Beckham's off-field and and sideline behavior. But despite it, they still signed him to a massive extension before the 2018 season.
Big Blue has insisted the trade to the Browns was a football move -- and not a reaction to Beckham's personality. Either way, it will be interesting to watch how a totally off-his-leash Beckham acts.
