He is 32 years old and if he plays to age 38 with no interruption, he will certainly be considered one of the top QBs in the history of game. In Eli's seven full seasons as Giants' QB, he has averaged 3810 passing yards and 26 TD passes per year.
If he averages those figures over the next seven seasons, he will finish with 58,907 passing yards and 393 TD passes. He would be only the sixth player in NFL history with more than 50k passing yards (assuming Tom Brady and Drew Brees get there, too).
The 393 TD passes would put him in similar standing in that category. Currently, only Brett Favre, Peyton Manning and Dan Marino have more than that with Brees and Brady closing in.
Eli recently sat down with FOX Sports analyst Mike Garafolo to discuss what he has left to do in the NFL, and what he wants his legacy to be.
