Time to tease your brains again. I know it's Monday....
Friday's question was: Since the 1970 merger, the Giants have won 10 or more games 13 times. They failed to qualify for the postseason in two of those seasons. Which ones were they?
The answer is 1988 and 2010.
In 1988, the Giants started slow, opening the season 3-3 before winning seven of their last ten. They needed 11 to make it to the postseason in 1988, and were denied by the Jets on the final Sunday of the season, 27-21, in a road game at the Meadowlands.
In 2010, the Giants won ten games, but not the right ten. Two losses to Philadelphia (including the Meltdown at the Meadowlands) and a 45-17 spanking in Green Bay in Week 16 doomed their chances for the postseason.
Today's question: In 2011, Ahmad Bradshaw led the Giants in rushing with 659 yards. It was only the third time since 2000 that the Giants did not have a 1,000 yard rusher (2009 and 2001 were the others).
Since the 1970 merger, which player led the Giants in rushing with the fewest amount of yards in a single season?
