A recent survey conducted by Sports Business Daily pegged Giants running back Saquon Barkley as one of the NFL's most marketable players.
According to SBD, Barkley is the fifth-most marketable player in the league. He trails Baker Mayfield, former Giant Odell Beckham Jr., Patrick Mahomes, and Tom Brady, who leads the list, respectively.
The outlet came to their conclusions based on a survey distributed to sports business execs, marketing analysts and media members. Brady and Mahomes were above and beyond the rest, though.
The survey was created with a point scale. Points were awarded on a five-point scale. Players were awarded five points for a first-place vote, four points for second place, and so on.
Brady slightly edged out Mahomes, 117-115. Beckham was not a close third, as he only had 78 points. Mayfield only edged out Barkley by one point, 46 to 45.
SBD's study released a full top-10, behind Barkley, respectively, were Aaron Rodgers, JJ Watt, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Drew Brees and Dak Prescott.
Earlier this offseason, Barkley ranked 10th in NFLPA merchandise sales.
