***Foley’s NY Pub & Restaurant (18 West 33rd St.), one of New York’s premier sports bars, has announced its 2012 Football Playoffs Menu in honor of the eight teams playing this weekend, including JPP's Pu-Pu Platter (Wings, Chicken Fingers & Mozzarella Sticks), named for NY Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and Aaron Rodgers' Cheesehead Mac & Cheese & Miller Lite, named for the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers.
“We wanted to have some fun during the playoffs. You don't have to be a fan of the team to order any of the combos,” said Shaun Clancy, owner of Foley’s, which will show all football games on its 15 big screen TVs.
"It was a toss-up between adding Manning's Tuna Melt and JPP's Pu-Pu Platter (named for NY Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul), but people just loved the name, so we are giving fans what they want," Clancy added.
***In honor of this weekend’s NFC Divisional playoff, Justin Timberlake’s Southern Hospitality has teamed up with Hornitos Tequila to bring GMEN fans a blue Giants-themed cocktail all weekend long.
Fans can order “Big Blue” made with Hornitos Tequila at both Southern Hospitality BBQ locations (below) for just $8 this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. When Big Blue fans order the drink, they will receive a complimentary order of onion rings; or, if you’re a Green Bay fan, a complimentary order of mozzarella cheese sticks.
