McKenzie said he will get an email from the union and then the team will vote. They need to have the ratification in place for the recently signed vets to be able to take the field. The new league year starts as soon as the ratification is official.
McKenzie also said the players were being cautious because "it's a ten-year deal without an opt-out we want to make sure everyone is comfortable with it and we cover all the bases." He revealed the HGH testing was one item that was "still being discussed."
The 11-year veteran said he felt confident the deal would be done barring anything unforeseen.
