In New York, the Giants' Week 15 collapse vs the Eagles has been called "infamous". In Philadelphia it is being heralded as the "New Miracle at the Meadowlands."
Either way, the last eight minutes of the Eagles' 38-31 historic comeback against the Giants will never be forgotten.
Yesterday the NFL revealed the winner of this year's GMC Never Say Never Moment. As you can guess, it went to Jackson. Why not?
Why not make this off-season as painful as possible? This is a play that topped off the greatest comeback/collapse in NFL history (in my eyes, anyway).
It's not bad enough that the Giants' season was shattered by this game. It's not bad enough that the Jets almost got to the Super Bowl. It's not bad enough there are snowbanks on the streets of New York the size of three-story walkups that will still be around by the time the Mets are eliminated from the playoffs....
I see this collapse in my sleep. I don't need to see it anymore. Hopefully, this will be the end of it for now.
Never say never....I say never again.
