Jason Cole of YaHoo! Sports believes the issues of guaranteed money and offset language will be resolved soon and Pugh will be at TPC on time next Friday.
Pugh is the only first rounder between picks 14 and 21 that has yet to sign. The sticky wicket is all about 2016, the fourth year of the contract. Pugh is seeking a fully guaranteed deal like the players in front him received.

On this point, the difference is whether all of Pugh’s compensation 2016 will be guaranteed, or whether half of it will be guaranteed. Roughly $750,000 is in issue, and Pugh will get the money if the Giants don’t cut him before the roster bonus in that amount comes due in March 2016.Nassib doesn't have much leverage, and the Giants won't up the ante too much on him. That being said, he knows how much the team values him as they used two picks to obtain his rights. So, there could be a difference in money that keeps him out past next week.
