Stefon Diggs will travel with the Vikings to New Jersey when the team takes on the Giants Sunday in a Week 5 matchup at MetLife Stadium, according to ESPN's Courtney Cronin.
Diggs' 2019 season has been a wild ride. He struggled to get going in the first three games of the season, totaling just 101 receving yards combined.
In Week 4, however, he exploded for seven catches and 108 yards and things looked to be back on track for the fifth-year receiver, who signed a five-year, $72-million extension this offseason.
But by Wednesday, things appeared to have soured between Diggs and the Vikings. He didn't show up to practice that day, and though he returned to the Vikings' facility Thursday, head coach Mike Zimmer was noncommital on Friday about the wideout suiting up against Big Blue.
With news that Diggs is with the team on their way to East Rutherford, it appears there's a good chance that the Giants secondary may be put to a more difficult test than they had originally hoped on Sunday.
