Jack Capuano mixed up the lineups a bit during Wednesday night's win and it appears that he has done so again for Thursday night's game. The top line will remain the same, according to Newsday's Arthur Staple, but the other lines will change a bit. Also Casey Cizikas is back in, while Corey Conacher will sit in the press box.
Chad Johnson will start in net for the Islanders. He is 3-1-0 in five appearances, with a 3.46 goals against average and a .870 save percentage.
The Kings will likely start Jonathan Quick in net and Justin Williams will be out of the game due to blurred vision. He took a stick to the eye on Tuesday in the Kings' game against the Dallas Stars.
Los Angeles is 7-2-1 in their last 10 games at the Staples Center against the Islanders. The Islanders have not one in Los Angeles since February 15, 2003.
