It went down to the final second, but the Giants somehow hung on for a 29-24 victory after leading this game 23-0.

The defense collectively had a rough day, as they allowed Tony Romo to make big plays all over the field, throwing for 437 yards. Three Dallas receivers ? Miles Austin, Jason Witten and Dez Bryant ? each had over 100 yards receiving on the day.

But Stevie Brown?s effort helped the Giants preserve the victory. Brown picked off two passes and recovered a fumble. He?s now second in the NFL in interceptions with five.

The Giants and Cowboys are set to face off in their second showdown of the season on Sunday.

For the G-Men, it's a chance to get revenge for Jerry Jones' comments following his Cowboys' win in the season opener and extend their lead in the NFC East. A win would situate Big Blue at 6-2 and potentially three games better than the runner-up.

For the Boys, it's an opportunity to sweep the series against New York for the first time since 2007 and make ground on the division-leading Giants. Both Dallas and Philadelphia are sitting at 3-3, with the Eagles facing a tough one vs. Atlanta.

Kevin Kolb will start at quarterback on Sunday when the Eagles play at Jacksonville. Michael Vick, who has played well since replacing Kolb in Week 1, will still play in Philly's version of the wildcat offense. Kolb has been out with a concussion, but has been cleared to play, and head coach Andy Reid has made it clear there is no quarterback controversy with the Eagles. Kolb is the starter.

"Listen, I know I'm in the business where I can't please everybody," Reid said on Monday. "That's not what I'm here to do. I'm here to make a decision that I think is right for the team. I will tell you that I think it's a beautiful situation. I look at it a lot different than other people look at it. I've got two quarterbacks that can play."

Meanwhile, Jason Witten says he is feeling fine and expects to play on Sunday when the Cowboys play at the Texans. Witten hit his head on the Cowboys Stadium turf during Sunday's loss to the Bears and was held out by team doctors.

According to ESPN's Matt Mosely, Terrell Owens, Roy Williams and Patrick Crayton had a sit-down meeting with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett about All- Pro tight end Jason Witten's role in the offense. The wide receivers believe Tony Romo favors Witten because the two are close friends.

This is surprising because Owens has always been known as a team first guy...I would say that T.O. is in the midst of wearing out his welcome in yet another locker room, except that it seems that at least part of the Cowboys' locker room is on his side.
