The Jets selected USC offensive tackle Chuma Edoga with the second of their two third-round picks Friday night, trading up one spot from No. 93 to No. 92 to get him.
According to NFL.com's profile of Edoga, he's 6-3, 308 pounds and has a chance to become an NFL starter. He's considered a better run blocker than pass protector and played right tackle for the Trojans.
So what is there to know about the newest member of the Jets?
- Edoga was a teammate of Jets quarterback Sam Darnold in 2017, starting 12 games as Darnold's right tackle. Familiarity could be key for Edoga's transition to the NFL.
