C.J. Mosley, Chuma Edoga and Paul Worrilow missed practice again Friday and have been ruled out on Sunday against the Bengals.
With the Jets' recent hot streak keeping their playoff hopes alive, Mosley has remained off injured reserve despite only appearing in two games this season. The star linebacker said last week that if the injury to his groin/abdomen didn't heal in the near future, he would elect to have season ending surgery.
The Jets will play an 0-11 Bengals team this week before trying to get revenge on a 2-9 Dolphins team that stunned the Jets for their first win of the season just a few weeks ago.
Adam Gase was optimistic at Friday's press conference that CB Darrayl Roberts would be available to dress on Sunday to try battling passes from Andy Dalton, who Gase called "A dangerous guy. Period." Roberts was listed as questionable on the team's injury report heading into the weekend.
But with the recent play of Blessuan Austin, Arthur Maulet and Brian Poole in the secondary, it will be interesting to see where Gase fits Roberts into his rotation--Austin and Maulet will likely remain the starters.
Kelvin Beachum (Ankles) and Demaryius Thomas (Hamstring) were also among those listed as questionable to play on Sunday.
