The Jets secondary could look very thin this weekend when they face the Miami Dolphins, with multiple players in doubt to suit up and CB Brian Poole officially listed as out.
In addition to Poole, things aren't looking to great for S Jamal Adams and CB Arthur Maulet, who are both listed as doubtful to play. Poole (concussion), Adams (ankle) and Maulet (calf) missed all three days of practice this week.
The trio all suffered their injuries at various points of Sunday's 22-6 loss to the Bengals, a game that handed Cincinnati their first win of the season.
Adams sprained his left ankle Sunday and said he played through the pain after sustaining the injury on the first drive of the game.
A number of Jets were listed as questionable for this Sunday, including Le'Veon Bell and Ryan Griffin. Bell missed the last two days of practice, while Griffin missed practice Wednesday before participating in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday.
It is unclear what illness they have, as Adam Gase would not specify.
"I feel like each guy it's been something different," Gase said about Bell on Thursday. "It hasn't been the same thing, it hasn't been like the flu or anything."
