Brandon Marshall wants legendary Jets quarterback Joe Namath to think before he tweets about his former team (NY Daily News, Oct. 30).
After current starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick struggled in the first half Sunday, completing just 3 of 14 passes, Namath called for a change to be made.

Fitzpatrick silenced Broadway Joe by leading touchdown drives of 78, 84 and 81 yards to begin the second half as the Jets overcame a 13-point deficit in a 31-28 victory in Cleveland.
When Namath's tweet was brought to the attention of Marshall following the game he was quick to come to his quarterbacks defense.
"I ain't going to fight with Joe, they'll throw me out of the city," Marshall said. "Joe can't say that! Come on Broadway.
"I mean it's four quarters. I would ask Joe, can you reserve your comment until after the game. That's two weeks in a row that you've been wrong Joe!"
Last week, Namath questioned the severity of a knee injury that knocked Geno Smith out of the game. When tests later revealed that Smith had suffered a season-ending torn ACL, Namath issued an apology for his premature judgement (>> Read More).
"I like Joe. I have his number, we talk," Marshall said, as he spoke in light-hearted manner of the Hall of Famer. "(But) come on, Joe. He got on Geno too last week when Geno had an ACL! But Joe I'm not fighting against you. For all the New York fans, I'm not going against Joe. But Joe, come on, you can't say that."
