The Jets are expected to pursue Spiller, 27, when free agency begins next month.
"His offense is going to be very creative," Spiller said of Gailey. "He's going put his players in the best situations to win matchups. Just a humble guy. First class. Goes about his business the right way. He's going to treat his men like men."
But Spiller also said he's open to staying in Buffalo with new coach Rex Ryan. "There is a possibility that I can be in a Bills uniform but the ball is in their court. I want to be in Buffalo." (NFL.com, Feb. 24).
Spiller ran for 1,244 yards in 2012, Gailey's last year as the Bills' head coach. That was the best of Spiller's five NFL seasons. He only ran for 300 yards in nine games last season after breaking his collarbone in October.
