Training camp has just kicked off, but Vegas has been all over preparing their books for the upcoming NFL season. And their over/under totals are already out for fans to bet on.
For the Jetts, Vegas is predicting they stay around their 2017 win total as their over/under is at 6.5 wins, according to Westgate SuperBook.
Gang Green obviously was ticketed to be one of the worst, if not the worst team in the NFL last season by some experts. They touted a young group of players on both ends of the ball, a huge quarterback problem, and lack of depth at many positions.
But the Jets defied those odds by putting together a 5-11 record last season, and that win total could definitely have been different if they were to close out some close games.
This season, the Jets may have solved their quarterback conundrum, drafting Sam Darnold with the No. 3 overall pick. They also made upgrades with players like CB Trumaine Johnson, LB Avery Williamson, and WR Terrelle Pryor.
Looking around the rest of the AFC East, the Patriots are at the top once again with 10.5 wins as their over/under. The Bills are also set at 6.5, while the Dolphins fall in at 5.5 on the season.
