Coming into Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs had yet to turn the ball over. Three games, three wins and zero turnovers; for a reinvigorated and restructured?Kansas City team that has done a complete 180 degree turn from disastrous season just a year ago in which they finished 2-14.

The Giants were looking to bounce back from a 38-0 loss against the Carolina Panthers last week and?attempting to win their first game of the season?to?avoid starting?0-4 for the first time since 1987.

Three Kansas City turnovers, only one Eli Manning interception, 62 yards for Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles and 164 yards, plus a little salsa dance for Giants WR Victor Cruz...all signs would point to Big Blue's first win of the season; but looks can be deceiving.

The Giants will travel to Kansas City today for their clash with the undefeated Chiefs tomorrow afternoon. The team is banding together in the quest to end their dismal start. They know what they need to do. Now it's just the act of getting it done.

"When we look back at it last week we just know that we simply did not get the job done," said CB Prince Amukamara. "Carolina outplayed us and we just have to learn from the game, like we did, and get prepared to play next week. That?s how it is in the NFL, that?s what I?m learning, is that there?s a good team every week and our job is to try and go 1-0 every week."

S Ryan Mundy is still looking for his first win in Blue. He knows the drill, too. It's all about individuals making the sacrifice for the good of the team.

Giants? offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride says his offensive line ? as well as his entire offensive unit ? has been hard at work this week.

But that doesn?t automatically mean the Giants? offense will show up Sunday in Kansas City against the Chiefs.

The Chiefs? defense so far has only allowed 34 points in its three games this season ? second to only the Seattle Seahawks (27).

The Kansas City Chiefs released tight end Kevin Boss, as well as wide receiver Steve Breaston, as new head coach Andy Reid attempts to overhaul the roster.

With the uncertainty surrounding the Giants? tight end position, Boss might become a cheap candidate to fill that role.

He signed a three-year, $9 million deal last offseason with the Chiefs. However, he suffered a season-ending concussion in Week 2 after catching three passes for 65 yards all year.
