Perhaps there is a chance Kristaps Porzingis will indeed play this season.
The Knicks forward did not travel with the team to London this week as he continues to work on his rehab and prepare himself to play this season.
While some reports have indicated the Knicks prefer he sit out the season, management actually wants him back this season, according to Marc Berman of The Post.
Berman reports that by staying back while the team is in London is encouraging that he could return this season.
Porzinigs, who tore his ACL on Feb. 13 last year, will be re-evaluated in mid-February.
Head coach David Fizdale said last week that Porzingis' workouts have been so impressive he had to look away because it was too much of a tease that he couldn't have the 7-3 forward out on the court.
