After going 2-4 with a double (his sixth) and a homer (his third), Rivera is leading the SAL in batting average (.407) while sitting second in OBP (.490) and third in total bases (52). Commenters have suggested leap-frogging the 23-year old Rivera over St. Lucie where Wilfredo Tovar is playing shortstop and Danny Muno is playing second with Robbie Shields working into the rotation as well, straight to AA Binghamton. It makes some sense.
