Who is starting for the Mets?
RHP Jacob deGrom (2-4, 3.60 ERA,) who over his last two starts has started to look more like the guy who won the NL Cy Young last season. He allowed just two runs across 14 innings in those outings, allowing seven hits and striking out 13. Earlier this season against Miami, deGrom struck out 14 batters in seven innings and allowed four baserunners.
Who is starting for the Marlins?
RHP Sandy Alcantara (1-3, 4.93 ERA), who after a sterling season debut has a 6.23 ERA over his last six starts. In three road starts he has 15 walks in 14 innings but has managed to only give up six earned runs.
RHP Noah Syndergaard (2-3, 5.14) is set to start the series finale Sunday at 1:10 p.m. while LHP Caleb Smith (3-0, 2.11) will pitch for Miami.
