The Mariners have acquired Dee Gordon from the Marlins, reports Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.
The Marlins will receive 2015 second-round pick RHP Nick Neidert, reports Jim Bowden of SiriusXM Radio. Gordon, who won a Gold Glove in 2015 as a second baseman, will play centerfield, a source told Bowden.
The Mets had previous expressed interest in Gordon, according to Jon Heyman of Fan Rag Sports, but the team also has shown interest in Brian Dozier of the Twins, Ian Kinsler of the Tigers, Jason Kipnis of the Indians, and Cesar Hernandez of the Phillies.
The Angels, Dodgers, White Sox, Royals, and Reds are also among teams with interest in Hernandez in the last year, according to SNY's Matt Cerrone.
In 158 games for the Marlins in 2017, Gordon hit .308 with 60 stolen bases, 33 RBIs, nine triples and 20 doubles.
