On Sunday, Mets infielder Jed Lowrie arrived at Spring Training wearing a knee brace on his left leg during workouts.
When asked about the knee brace, Lowrie didn't get into specifics.
"This is just a brace that alleviates my symptoms and makes me feel like myself," Lowrie said. "Like I said, I'm wearing this brace to alleviate my symptoms and so I can feel like myself ... I don't want to get into specifics of symptoms."
Lowrie would go on to talk about if he's going to be ready for the start of the season. The 35-year-old missed almost all of the 2019 season, playing in just nine games.
"It's always kind of a fluid situation anyway," Lowrie said. "I'm just going to go out there and do everything I can. As of now we're just building up with that intent."
