The Mets announced on Sunday that RHP Jacob Rhame has been placed on the 10-day DL with right elbow discomfort.
Rhame was just recalled from Triple-A yesterday, and he threw in 1.1 innings against the Pirates in the victory. He only walked one batter, but didn't allow a hit.
The 26-year-old has only seen a few games with the Mets this season, owning a 4.26 ERA over five appearances.
The corresponding move for Rhame was LHP Donnie Hart coming up to the Mets for the first time after being claimed off waivers yesterday.
The 28-year-old last pitched in the Majors back on May 1 with the Brewers, allowing just two hits over three innings of work. In 40 games in Triple-A, Hart has pitched to a 4.10 ERA over 37.1 innings.
Hart will wear No. 68 for the Mets.
