nba all-star game NBA

The NBA season is technically more than halfway over for the Nets, who have played 49 games and have a 23-26 record. After a rough start, the team?s play has improved drastically.

With only two games remaining before the unofficial halfway point of the season, two more wins would really give this team some good momentum, especially with an all-important six-game west coast road trip looming.

No games are layups in the NBA, and tonight?s matchup against the Charlotte Bobcats could potentially be a trap game. But the Bobcats have been struggling on the road lately, dropping their last four road games by an average of 12.0 points.

Nets guard Joe Johnson has been selected as an Eastern Conference reserve for the NBA All-Star game.

It is the seventh All-Star selection of Johnson's NBA career, and his first as a Brooklyn Net. Johnson made six consecutive All-Star games from 2006-07 to 2011-12 as a member of?the Atlanta Hawks.
