On Friday night, the Brooklyn Nets were defeated by the Golden State Warriors by a final score of 109-102.

The Skinny: The Nets opened up the game rather aggressively and both Deron Williams and Joe Johnson were feeling it early. Johnson opened up the game scoring 15 first quarter points and together, he and Williams combined to score 22 of the team's 31 points in the game's opening frame. The Warriors kept pace, led by eight points from Klay Thompson.

Ahead 31-24 to open the second quarter, coach Avery Johnson went with his reserves?C.J. Watson, Keith Bogans, Jerry Stackhouse, Mirza Teletovic and Reggie Evans. Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry played relatively well during the opening minutes of the second and helped to spark their team on a 7-0 to to close the gap to 46-45 with 4:35 to go in the half.
