Joe Harris will defend his title in the NBA's Three-Point Content at All-Star Weekend on Feb. 15, the Nets' swingman confirmed prior to the team's game against the Suns on Monday.
Harris won the competition last season in his first appearance, defeating the likes of Steph Curry, Damian Lillard, Devin Booker and Dirk Nowitzki, among others. At one point, he made 12 consecutive shots en route to the title.
His confirmed competition this season includes Lillard, Buddy Hield and Trae Young.
In addition to his All-Star Weekend victory last season, Harris was one of the NBA's best three-point shooters throughout 2018-19. He led the league in three-point shooting percentage, hitting 47.4 percent of his attempts from distance.
He's taken a step back this season, however, shooting threes at a 40.5 percent rate, good for 26th in the league. Harris has started all 47 games in which he's played this season -- missing just one contest -- and is coming off a 22-point effort against the Wizards on Saturday in which he hit a season-high six threes.
