The Nets will play LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers twice in China next preseason.
"It's an honor to help celebrate basketball's growth abroad, and represent Brooklyn and the League on an international stage," Nets guard Caris LeVert said in a press release. "The Nets have a connection to fans all over the world, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to visit China and play for our passionate Chinese fans for the very first time."
The two teams will play on Oct. 10 in Shanghai and Oct. 12 in Shenzhen.
Both teams have played in China before. Brooklyn played in Beijing and Guangzhou in 2010, and Beijing and Shanghai in 2014. The Lakers played games in Beijing and Shanghai in 2014.
October's matchups are not the next time the teams will face each other. Brooklyn, which beat Los Angeles 115-110 on Dec. 18 at Barclays Center, will look for the season sweep at Staples Center on March 22.
