The Nets and 76ers have developed a budding rivalry in this first round of the NBA Playoffs.
It started with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons laughing about the former's flagrant elbow to Nets center Jarrett Allen, and Jared Dudley followed up by saying Simmons is "average." And Simmons continued the feud by answering Dudley's comments this morning, saying "That's coming from Jared Dudley, cmon man."
All of this trash talk has come in only two days since both teams have touched the court. And now it looks like Nets fans will have the last laugh before Game 3.
Per NetsDaily's Anthony Puccio, a Nets fan created a "missing" poster for Simmons, and they're looking for his jump shot.
There are a few other tidbits like contacting Simmons' former girlfriend, model Kendall Jenner, and the "last seen" portion that reads "Drinking in Orlando," which is in reference to a report that surfaced recently that said Simmons missed a game against the Magic because he was out partying the night before.
And of course, Nets fans couldn't forget about "just average" under his characteristics.
While this poster is all a fun joke to keep the series lively, it shows that Nets fans are watching their team closely, and will be yelling from the rafters at Barclays Center all night long. We all know though: The real last laugh will come to whoever takes the series.
