Moore spoke with John Giannone on MSG after the game:
- On the goal, "it was a good kill and then the odd-man break. I thought I put the puck in Brass' hands but I guess he wasn't expecting it. Just tried to stay with it on that shift and then when Hayes got it I knew it would go to the net and good things happened."
- "Maybe, I think it's just a matter of wanting to win. We had lots of looks before that, just tried to stay with it and work for a good bounce and it finally came."
- On the playoffs, "it's fun time of year for us and everyone relishes playing in these games and it's a good thing to enjoy it."
- On the one-goal games, "you don't plan on that but it's a good thing when you know how to win those games and we have played them well. That is how the playoffs are, the margins are small and not for the faint of heart."
