Asked about Clendening before the game, Alain Vigneault said "he's been working real hard in practice. It's not an ideal situation. He was playing well before sitting out and everything I have seen from this young player when we have used him, he has moved the puck well, played to his strengths, his gap has been good."
Alain Vigneault said on Tuesday 11/8, "I thought his game was fine. Every time that we have used Adam we have gotten what we have expected. He moves the puck well, he is good on those short little bump plays in our own end to get the puck out. We are going to need him down the road and we know he will be ready for us."
