5:53PM: Tanner Glass spoke with the media on Monday afternoon and said (NYR):
"Happy to be back. Thank you."
On the season, "it's never easy to be demoted or go down and I just try and go with a positive attitude and play my game and be myself. Some tough times, the team hasn't done as well as we would have liked but it's a grind of a season and we still have games to play here."
On what he brings, "I haven't been following as closely as some of you have, I know what I bring, the coaches know what I bring, most of the guys in the locker room know what I bring every night. I just try to be consistent and hopefully it's an element that can help the team win."
On worrying he wouldn't get called up, "more this year than last. I was down longer this year and doubts creep in and you have to try and stay focused and positive and I was able to get some distractions to help and do that. I had another kid and that will keep you distracted. We are very fortunate to play hockey for a living and this is the best league in the world, I'm just going to try and enjoy every minute I have here and play hard.
