Last 5 games: Portland is 2-3 in their last 5 games.? Erratic is the best way to put it.? They followed up a 110-99 win against The Wizards with a 92-75 loss to The Pacers in which they only scored 20 total field goals.? Marcus Camby only played 6 minutes against Indiana and was ejected versus Washington.? He leads the team in rebounding and blocks.? Portland likes to play a very slow pace.? You will get a heavy dose of isolation plays mostly for leading scorer Lamarcus Aldridge(shooting 57% in last 5 games).? If Camby is out expect Portland to go to a smaller lineup where they try to press and trap more often.? This is a very poor three point shooting team.? They do not have one player shooting over 40% on the season.

Offense: New Jersey is 24th in the league in scoring.? The Nets have been incorporating MarShon Brooks and Kris Humphries more in the offense.? Brook Lopez returned last night but he will not play tonight.? They still rely heavily on Deron Williams to carry the playmaking and scoring.? Deron shot 9 threes yesterday.

TKB welcomes Ryan Wallace, who worked for the Knicks' basketball ops on Matt Harding's staff for 8 years. Ryan was responsible for compiling data the team would use in scouting reports. Here are his notes on: The Hornets.

Offense: The Hornets are 29th in the league in scoring at 87.2 per game.? They will look to get quick shots in transition but will for the most part run very disciplined half court sets.? This is a team really hurting with injuries however they have rallied to win their last two behind hot shooting from Marco Bellinelli.

Offense: Much of the Kings offense revolves around?Cousins,Thorton, and Evans. ?They take over 50% of the shots. ?They will run high pick and roll with Cousins as well as starting the offense from the elbow with him. ?Since Keith Smart took over they are posting cousins allot less.

Defense: Sacramento is 30th?in the league at 101.3. ?They gave up 121 points to a Derrick Rose less Bulls last night. ?This is due primarily to lack of experience on this team as well as trying to find the right rotation as they like to play 10+ guys every game. ?

TKB welcomes Ryan Wallace,?who worked for the Knicks' basketball ops on Matt Harding's staff for 8 years. Ryan was responsible for compiling data the team would use in scouting reports. Here are his notes on: The Wolves.

Offense: Much of the Wolves offense runs through Kevin Love.? They like to run high pick and roll with Love and Rubio.? They also bring some good firepower off the bench in the likes of Martell Webster and Michael Beasley.? They will run when the opportunity presents itself but they are much more comfortable in the half court.? Even though Minnesota often plays with two point guards in the game they are a little turnover prone averaging 16.11per game good for 6th in the league.

TKB welcomes Ryan Wallace,?who worked for the Knicks' basketball ops on Matt Harding's staff for 8 years. Ryan was responsible for compiling data the team would use in scouting reports. Here are his notes on: the Lakers:

Offense: The Lakers are 20th in the League at 93ppg.? This is due mainly to their pace of play as they are for the most part a half court team.? Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum and Paul Gasol take 63% of the Lakers shot attempts.? Kobe Bryant has the green light to do whatever he wants and has the comfort to do that because Gasol and Bynum are there to clean up the offensive glass. They will not look to run very much as they are a very slow team.

TKB welcomes Ryan Wallace, who worked for the Knicks' basketball ops on Matt Harding's staff for 8 years. Ryan was responsible for compiling data the team would use in scouting reports. Here are his notes on: the Jazz.

Offense: Utah wants to pound the ball inside.? They are very deep on the frontline.? Utah is last in the league in three point field goal percentage at 29.3%.? Utah takes very good care of the ball which results in them being second to last in the league in turnovers.

Defense: Utah is very strong in the paint as they are top ten in the league in both blocks and rebounds.? It will be very tough to score in the paint so you must be able to shoot from the outside to beat this team.

Offense: New Jersey is 21st in the league in scoring.? They rely heavily on the duo of Deron Williams and Anthony Morrow.? Deron is their only go to scorer that can create for himself in the half court.? Anthony Morrow is a deadly player in transition and in the half court finding space to spot up for his three point shot.? He is also one of the best free throw shooters in the NBA.

Offense; Miami is second in the league in scoring at 104.4 per game.? However their last three games have been 82, 92 and 101 respective as teams are starting to limit Miami?s transition game.? Also Miami has been without Dwayne Wade.? Wade has missed 9 of the last 12 games.? In the half court Miami has been looking to iso James and Bosh surrounding them with good shooters.

Offense: Primarily will run well executed hald court sets to try and get Andrew Bogut established in the paint.? Will run High pick and roll with Bogut as well.? Not looking to run very much at all as this is not a very athletic team.? Averaging 91.8 points per game is 23rd in the league.

TKB welcomes Ryan Wallace, who worked for the Knicks' basketball ops on Matt Harding's staff for 8 years. Ryan was responsible for compiling data the team would use in scouting reports. Here are his notes on:

Offense: Memphis? offense is struggling since losing Zach Randolph.? They have only scored over 90 points once in the last 4 games.? Their best offense comes in transition as they don?t have a go to scorer in the half court.? Michael Conely likes to run pick and roll action with Rudy Gay and Marc Gasol in half court. Memphis also will start offense with Gasol in the mid post/elbow so he can use his passing and nice touch to facilitate offense.

TKB welcomes Ryan Wallace, who worked for the Knicks' basketball ops on Matt Harding's staff for 8 years. Ryan was responsible for compiling data the team would use in scouting reports. Here are his thoughts on:

Offense: The Bobcats started a defensive minded lineup in their last game against the Indiana Pacers.? This did not hinder them in the first quarter as they were able to score 32 points.? However they only scored 47 points the rest of the game.? Running much of the same offense teams can now focus on stopping Gerald Henderson on the wing.? BJ Mullens has been a bright spot and his minutes should continue to climb.
