Among all the accolades he's earned in his young career, Aaron Judge is also a man of his word.
During batting practice prior to Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Judge took the time to meet with a wheelchair-bound Yankee fan on the field. The two briefly exchanged pleasantries, but the meeting ended with Judge promising to "get one for [him] tonight."
After striking out in the first, Judge came to the plate in the third inning and deposited a Clayton Kershaw curveball deep into the stands in left-center field. The homer was Judge's 16th of the season and third in as many games, but if he keeps this up, there may be a few more longballs in store for the Yankee slugger.
