Rookie - Appalachian League East Division - Pulaski Yankees
Record: 11-4, 1st place, 1.0 GA
Pulaski went 4-3 since the last report.
No. 17 -- Nolan Martinez (RHP) has not pitched since June 26. Martinez has made one relief appearance thus far, and allowed a run on one hit.
No. 28 -- Dermis Garcia (3B) is batting .240 with three home runs and 10 RBIs.
Short season A - New York-Penn League - Staten Island Yankees
Record: 13-2, 1st place, 4.0 GA
Staten Island is riding a six-game winning streak.
No. 16 -- Wilkerman Garcia (SS) has five hits in his last 22 at-bats and has yet to record an extra-base hit this season.
No. 21 -- Drew Finley (RHP) hurled 4 1/3 innings of shutout ball in a start on July 4, allowing one hit and four walks while striking out four batters.
No. 25 -- Jorge Guzman (RHP) sparkled in his last start, tossing 6 2/3 scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts.
Class A - South Atlantic League Southern Division - Charleston RiverDogs
1st Half Record: 34-36, 5th place, 7.5 GB
2nd Half Record: 9-5, T-1st place
Charleston went 4-3 since the last report.
No. 3 (No. 30) -- Blake Rutherford (OF) has six hits in his last 22 at-bats, which has lowered his OPS to .711.
No. 15 -- Estevan Florial (OF) went 5-for-23 since the last report, but scored seven runs, homered and drove in five. Florial will play for the World team in the upcoming MLB Futures Game.
No. 23 -- Hoy Jun Park (2B/SS) is slashing .261/.360/.355 with just 12 extra-base hits this season.
No. 24 -- Donny Sands (C) busted out of a lengthy slump with six hits in 17 at-bats along with his second home run of the season. Sands scored six runs and drove in five this week.
No. 26 -- Freicer Perez (RHP) continued his hot streak with a seven-inning, one-run effort on July 3 to pick up his fourth win of the season. Perez allowed five hits, struck out nine and did not issue a walk.
Advanced A - Florida State League North Division - Tampa Yankees
1st Half Record: 39-31, 1st place, 1.0 GA
2nd Half Record: 8-5, 2nd place, 0.5 GB
Tampa went 3-4 since the last report.
No. 5 (No. 65) -- James Kaprielian (RHP) will miss the rest of the 2017 season after undergoing successful Tommy John surgery on April 18. His 2018 season is also in jeopardy.
No. 10 -- Albert Abreu (RHP) remains on the disabled list with an undisclosed injury.
No. 13 -- Dillon Tate (RHP) punched out 11 batters in a seven-inning scoreless start on July 2 in which he did not walk a batter and allowed six hits.
No. 18 -- Nick Solak (2B) cooled off a bit from his 16-for-38 stretch, recording seven hits in 28 at-bats since the last report, although two of the hits left the yard. Solak is slashing .305/.407/.461 in 301 plate appearances this season.
No. 19 -- Ian Clarkin (LHP) threw seven shutout innings Tuesday, striking out five batters and giving up four hits and no walks to lower his season ERA to 2.54.
No. 22 -- Kyle Holder (2B/SS/3B) is on the seven-day disabled list with an undisclosed injury. Holder has had a rough season, notching a dismal .519 OPS in 257 plate appearances.
No. 27 -- Taylor Widener (RHP) pitched 4 2/3 innings in his last start, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks while striking out six.
Double-A - Eastern League Eastern Division - Trenton Thunder
Record: 57-28, 1st place, 6.0 GA
Trenton is riding an eight-game winning streak, which helped the Thunder boost their division lead to a season-high six games.
No. 4 (No. 37) -- Jorge Mateo (IF/OF) is sizzling hot at the plate, going 14-for-30 with a home run and 13 RBIs since the last report.
No. 6 (No. 66) -- Justus Sheffield (LHP) hit the seven-day disabled list with an oblique injury. Sheffield, who was named to the Eastern League All-Star team, is 7-5 with a 3.09 ERA this season.
No. 12 -- Domingo Acevedo (RHP) picked up a win this week in an eight-hit, one-run effort in which he struck out seven hitters in five innings. Acevado will play for the World team in the upcoming MLB Futures Game.
No. 20 -- Zack Littell (RHP) picked up his third straight win since being promoted, but allowed five runs in six innings.
No. 29 -- Thairo Estrada (2B/SS) went 9-for-31 since the last report, but had an 18-game hit streak come to an end Thursday night.
Triple-A - International League North Division - Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders
Record: 54-32, 1st place, 1.5 GA
The RailRiders went 5-2 since the last report and have taken over first place in the North Division after winning five straight games.
No. 1 (No. 2) -- Gleyber Torres (INF) is out for the season after having Tommy John surgery. Torres was batting .309 with four doubles, a triple, two home runs and 16 RBIs in 81 at-bats for the RailRiders before the injury.
No. 7 (No. 94) -- Chance Adams (RHP) allowed two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out six to earn his sixth win for the RailRiders.
No. 9 -- Miguel Andujar (3B) is 5-for-24 since returning to Scranton following his second brief stint in the majors.
No. 30 -- Giovanny Gallegos (RHP) is on the seven-day disabled list. He has a 3.00 ERA in 18 innings with Scranton and has thrown 11 1/3 innings (7.11 ERA) with the major league club this season.
